Personality: Nala has been at A.D.O.P.T. since March of 2011 and is about 2-1/2 years old. She is in Comm 3. The residents of this small room prefer to be adopted out as only cats. Nala has her own  personality in that she will tell you when she wants attention and when she doesn't. She is waiting to find her special forever home. Don't pass her up - she has much love to give.

Adoption Fee: $50

Where to find this pet: For more information about any of the cats and dogs we have available for adoption, please contact A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter at 630-355-2299. Naperville Area Humane Society

Mrs. White is a 3-month old terrier mix who was transferred in from an overrun shelter in Oklahoma. She is very shy and will need someone very patient to help build her confidence. She’s sweet and loving and will do great in a family with kids at least 12 years old, another dog or possibly a cat.

Kiki is a 12-year old brown tabby with a lot of energy and spunk! She does not look or act her age. She’s very loving and affectionate and enjoys the company of people and other cats. She may do well in a home with a dog. She is also front declawed. She was returned to the shelter after 10 years because her previous owner was moving. She has a lot of love to give and will make someone very happy.

More dogs and cats are available at the Naperville Area Humane Society. All the animals have been examined for health and temperament, started on their vaccines and microchipped. They are spayed or neutered at adoption. Hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays, 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Visit at 1620 W. Diehl Road in Naperville or online at www.napervilleareahumanesociety.org.
