St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church was recently awarded Earth Flag Certification by SCARCE (School and Community Assistance for Recycling and Composting Education), on behalf of DuPage County. This certification is recognition that St. Joan of Arc church is making progress towards operating in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. At the award ceremony, the Earth Flag was presented by Kay McKeen and Kris Salmen of SCARCE and by John Zediker of the DuPage County Board.
