Register to participate in the Scarecrow Scramble, the sixth annual 5K run/walk to benefit the Lisle Community Character Alliance and Partners for Parks on Oct. 16. Choose from the 5K run or walk, youth run, tot dash or walk for children under 10 years old. Activities also include a costume contest, bonfire and hayrides. Registration fees vary from $0-$30, with a discount for pre-registration.

Pre-register by mail or online by Oct. 13; or register at the event at 4pm on Oct. 16.
