With the community’s assistance, Lisle Community Park has a chance to take home the grand prize. The great thing about this contest is that any park can win, big or small. According to the Coca-Cola website, “Last year, Oak Park in the small town of Minot, ND, captured the title of “America’s Favorite Park” and the $100,000 recreation grant. The community united to vote for Oak Park, which was completely destroyed last year in a historic flood. The grant helped with the park’s restoration so families have a place to play together again. It takes an entire community to help a park win big.” The Lisle Park District is requesting your help, so “check-in” every two hours for 100 votes and vote online early and often!
